The cultural current flows rapidly against godly living today. As foreigners in this world, Christians must identify and resist personal, cultural and demonic desires that draw us from Jesus. We stand out by saying "no," fasting, getting accountability and striving to honor Christ in all we do. Though not home yet, we can shine Jesus' light by swimming against immorality and rebelling respectfully. Our lives can preserve culture as salt if we courageously admit sin and fight for what Jesus is worth - no matter what comes against us.
