Shoreline Church understands God’s calling for each of us to go out and share the Good News (Mark 16:15) and be His witnesses to the ends of the Earth (Acts 1:8) while advancing Shoreline’s mission of “helping as many people as possible become totally committed to Jesus Christ.” We have ongoing mission trips and events aimed at making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
Shoreline hosts annual mission trips to Visakhapatnam, India that have included the restoration of our partner church’s orphanage and school following severe damage from the 2014 cyclone. It has been a great way to practice personal organic outreach while being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Shoreline has the honor of partnering with multiple ministries in Baja, California. Each of these strategic Global Outreach partnerships has been formed to help serve and share the love of Christ with the people of Mexico. For more information on a few of our partners, please explore: Door of Faith Orphanage, Siloe Ministries, the Breakfast Club, or Rancho Sordo Mudo.
In Guatemala, we have chosen to partner with Iglesia Galilea. Those who follow God’s call and serve on a Missions team will show and share the love of Christ in urban areas (such as San Lucas) and in more remote areas (like El Zapote). Iglesia Galilea ministers to the people of Guatemala primarily in schools and churches with projects designed to improve the quality of life for people in these areas and also introduce them to the message of Jesus Christ.
Shoreline partners with World Mission to distribute The Treasure—a solar powered audio Bible. Teams from Shoreline have taken Treasures to the Philippines, Kenya, India and Nepal, Honduras, and Mexico and delivered them to people in the communities of those countries. With these treasures, people were able to listen to the Word of God in their native language! Stop by and pick up a Change Your World box from our office during the week or at the Connection Center on Sundays. When the box is filled with change, there is about enough money in them for us to purchase a Treasure from World Mission.
