Global Outreach

Shoreline Church understands God’s calling for each of us to go out and share the Good News (Mark 16:15) and be His witnesses to the ends of the Earth (Acts 1:8) while advancing Shoreline’s mission of “helping as many people as possible become totally committed to Jesus Christ.” In conjunction with Organic Outreach International, we host ongoing mission trips and events aimed at making disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20). By working together in collaboration, everyone benefits and their walk with the Lord is renewed.

Fulfilling the Great Commission Globally With Audio Bibles

Every day, over 60,000 people from unreached people groups die having never heard the Word of God. Today, it is estimated that 40% of all the people groups in the world remain unreached. Shoreline Church seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by providing the Word of God in an audio format through our partnership with World Mission. We purchase solar-powered audio players called “The Treasures” which are designed to speak in over 6,000 languages. This audio player can hold up to 800 hours of audio material including the Old and New Testament.

In this ministry we partner with World Mission and receive small coin collection boxes that, when filled, contain $40 to purchase one “Treasure”. Hundreds of Shoreliners have taken numerous “Treasures” around the globe. These trips have included destinations such as the Philippines, Kenya, India and Nepal, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico. Volunteers hand deliver to organizations, churches and people we are partnering with on our missions trips. With these “Treasures”, people are able to listen to God’s Word in their native languages! It is amazing that by simply saving pocket change in your collection box, you can “Change the World”!

If you would like to be a part of this ministry please contact christy@shoreline.church for details and to receive your very own collection box. For even more information on the “Treasures”, visit the World Mission website at https://www.worldmission.cc

Partners

India

Shoreline hosts annual mission trips to Visakhapatnam, India. Volunteers partner with the local family that runs the church and children’s home utilizing organic outreach activities and techniques. They serve hundreds of local men, women and children from nearby villages.

Volunteers train pastors and their wives in organic outreach and host youth events for children. They also perform projects such as the restoration of our partner church’s children’s home following severe damage from a cyclone, cleaning, painting and light construction.

Mexico

Shoreline has the honor of partnering with multiple ministries in Baja, California. Each of these strategic Global Outreach partnerships has been formed to help serve and share the love of Christ with the people of Mexico.

Guatemala

In Guatemala, we have chosen to partner with Iglesia Galilea. Those who follow God’s call and serve on a Missions team will show and share the love of Christ in urban areas such as San Lucas and in more remote areas like El Zapote. Iglesia Galilea https://www.hungryforlife.org/communities/guatemala/zapote ministers to the people of Guatemala primarily in schools and churches with projects designed to improve the quality of life for people in these areas and also introduce them to the message of Jesus Christ.

Uganda

Shoreline hosts a two-week mission trip to Uganda to teach and encourage people living in refugee camps. Since 2016, about 2.5 million people from South Sudan have fled to Uganda, displaced from their homes and their country because of violence and genocide. We have a partnership with South Sudanese Pastor Edward Dima and his wife, Rose. Our partners have started hundreds of churches in the refugee camps. Refugees tell volunteers that our presence encourages them and grows their Faith.
