Week 7: Real Faith in Seasons of Pain and Suffering

In this message, we see the hope of God’s Word and His church to address the seasons of suffering, sickness, and pain that virtually every human will face during their lifetime. As we look to Him and His Word, we will discover the power of patience, perseverance, and prayer. Real faith looks beyond the superficial solutions offered by the world and goes deeper to address the power of God to give us endurance, strength, hope, and encouragement no matter the season we are walking through.

From Series: “Real Faith

Life isn’t neat and tidy, and neither are the challenges many of us face in our day to day lives. We don’t want a shallow faith that just tells people, “Keep your eye on the prize”. We are hungry for more clarity and something that stands up to the toughest of times and the winds and waves of culture. We are hungry for Real Faith! One of the Bible’s best books to address this is the Book of James, which was written to inspire, encourage, challenge, and equip the early church with real life practices in the face of overwhelming persecution and cultural corruption. Just as it brought comfort, confidence, and courage to the 1st Century followers of Jesus then, it can still do the same for us today!
