Shawn Stroud, Lead Pastor
Shawn Stroud serves as the Lead Pastor at Shoreline Church and is responsible for preaching, visionary direction of the church, and leadership of the Executive Staff and Leadership Teams. Shawn joined the Shoreline Staff in October of 2015 following his retirement from the U.S. Army, where he served for 30-plus years in a wide variety of command and leadership positions and worldwide assignments, including combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Shawn is a graduate of the US Army War College, US Army Fellowship Program (Naval Postgraduate School), and the Command and General Staff College. Among the many other military schools and qualifications throughout his career, Shawn graduated from the Defense Language Institute, where he studied Modern Standard Arabic and the Iraqi dialect. Shawn and his wife Amy have been married for over 40 years and are blessed with four adult children: Ryan, Jacob, Amanda, and Grant; three daughters-in-law: Katie, Kari, and Hannah; and one son-in-law (Jesse, serving in the US Air Force). They also have eleven grandchildren: London, Annalise, Audrey, Aria, Maddox, Silas, Emma, Knox, Remi, Braxton, and Millie.
