Thank God for the material possessions He has provided for you and ask for wisdom to know that your greatest treasure is Jesus and His grace. Thank God for the many ways He brings joy and pleasure through the things He has made under the sun and pray that your greatest delights will be found in the faith you have in Jesus.“Live It!” Challenge
Notice the Giver – God has made many wonderful things under the sun and he gives them for our enjoyment. As you enjoy the gifts and blessings of this world, be sure to stop and recognize that God is the giver of each one of them.Small Group Discussion
Tell about a time you invested money, energy, or time into something that ended up disappointing you? What were you hoping and why did this thing not deliver?
When we read the book of Ecclesiastes, we find King Solomon near the end of his life. As he looks back, he is clearly disappointed. What are some of the things we can do to make sure we don’t get to the end of our life and see the world as he did?

What are some of the ways people today try to make pleasure-seeking the focal point of their life? Why is this so dangerous and disappointing for so many people?What are ways that seeking Jesus and following him can bring deep satisfaction and meaning?
