Memorize and Reflect
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. (1 John 3:17)Prayer Direction
Ask God to show you the field you need to work in. It may be here, across the country, or in another country. With all your heart, pray. Then when His leading touches you, nudges your heart, commit to taking a first step towards what He’s called you to. If you’re already in the field, ask for strength to grow and clarity to see the greater vision.“Live It!” Challenge
After praying and deciding to take a step, commit to following through for at least one year with your first step of engaging. Research tells us that a brief attempt won’t do. You’ll learn new things each week about the direction you’ve taken and your investment will grow if you stick with it. God will supply the patience and stamina!Small Group Discussion
