We are called to seek first the Kingdom of God and His will before all other allegiances. A follower of Jesus knows that God is the King over all kings and that we should bow down only to the Lord of heaven. When any human allegiance, including a political one, becomes the driving force in our lives, we are off course. In a time when political divides and opinions have become so polarized, we need to see ourselves and others through the eyes of Jesus. Faith in Him is what joins our hearts and drives our lives.
