There are children and families throughout Monterey County facing crisis, entering foster care, or simply needing someone willing to step into their lives with compassion and practical support. For followers of Jesus, caring for vulnerable children and families isn’t just an issue to be concerned about—it’s an opportunity to live out our faith.
Join us for Called to Care in Monterey County, an informational evening designed to help you better understand the needs of children and families in our community and discover meaningful ways you can help.
You’ll hear from representatives from Monterey County Social Services, Safe Families for Children, CASA of Monterey County, and Teen Moms, Inc. who will share about the work happening locally and the many different ways individuals and families can get involved.
Whether you’re interested in fostering, becoming a CASA, supporting families before they reach a crisis, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply learning more, there is a place for you to make a difference.
You’ll also have time to meet representatives from each organization, ask questions, and explore opportunities without any pressure or commitment.
Come learn about the need. Hear what’s already happening. And discover how you might be called to care.
