Pray for eyes to see the work and ways of the enemy so you can be prepared to resist and stand strong. Pray for wisdom and discipline to wear all the defensive armor taught about in Ephesians 6. Ask God to help you grow in prayer and your understanding of Scripture so you can fight against the enemy.“Live It!” Challenge

Tell about a time you experienced a spiritual battle or had a real sense that something was happening in the spiritual realm.
Why is it essential that we recognize the reality of the unseen spiritual world? What are some possible negative consequences if we deny the unseen spiritual war that is raging?
Read: Ephesians 6:10-12. What do we learn about the character and tactics of our spiritual enemy in this passage?
Why is it important for Christians to realize that our battle is not (ultimately) against human forces and the people around us? What does the Apostle Paul say about who we are fighting and how does knowing this change the focus of our battles?
Read: Ephesians 6:13-18. What does putting on these specific defensive pieces of armor mean for us? How can each of these items protect us as we follow Jesus and resist the enemy of our souls?
How does reading, knowing, and following the teaching of the Bible make us strong to resist the devil and stand unwavering in our faith? Tell about a time that the Bible helped you fight back against an attack of the devil.
Read: 1 Peter 5:8-9. What are ways you have learned to resist the devil? Why is it helpful to remember that other Christians around the world are facing the same things you are?
Read: James 4:7-8. What are ways we can draw near to God? What does it mean to resist the devil?
When we resist the devil and refuse to follow his enticements, he flees! How does this truth give you hope and courage as you face the unseen spiritual war we all have to fight?
