Pray for daily infusion of strength and resilience as you go through trials and struggles. Pray the same for those close to you struggling.“Live It!” Challenge
Challenge yourself to embrace 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Practice giving thanks in tough times and see how God comes alongside you.Small Group Discussion
Has there been a time in your life when you were upset with God for an ongoing struggle? How did you resolve, or work through it?
How do you see injustice and struggles and God’s role in them?
Share one of the hardest struggles you’ve gone through. How did it come about?
Are you struggling now; if so, how can the group pray for you?
Describe a time when you practiced giving thanks in a tough situation and you knew God was in it in some way.
What have you told someone else (or would tell them if the opportunity presented) when they were suffering?
Describe how you see injustice. Have you experienced injustice and if so, what transpired?
Is there anything you’ve gone through (or are going through now) that you don’t understand? Describe. How do you handle not knowing?
