Prayer Direction

Ask the Lord to guide you to abide (take up residence) in HIS Word. Then ask him to guide you to the peace offered through the reconciliation provided by Jesus, that it would become real and tangible to you.

“Live It!” Challenge

As you develop your understanding of Orthodoxy, right beliefs, challenge yourself to strive to live daily in peace and hope that you experience from your relationship with Jesus.

Small Group Discussion

  1. Describe how hope is working your life today.

  2. What is your personal sense of peace between you and God?
    Real or a goal?

  3. How does hope work in you these days? What impact does having the hope coming from God have on our current struggles? (Yours & others)

  4. Read: Romans5:12. How can we be declared guilty for something Adam did thousands of years ago?

  5. Read: 1 John 1:8-10. What's it like for you to know you're a sinner? Ever avoid it or dismiss it?

  6. Jesus died "for the ungodly." How do you feel about that? Why would he do that? Who all are the ungodly?

  7. Read Romans 5:20-21. How does it work that as sin increased in the world, grace increased all the more? Is that still the case today?

  8. Adam committed the trespass - Jesus provided the gift. Both were sinless (prior to Adam's choice to sin). Talk about the importance of the difference between them.
