Pray for people in your life who do not believe Jesus is God. Ask God to reveal himself to them through you or someone else. Ask God to show you how to share the truth of Jesus with them.“Live It!” Challenge
Countering the False Narratives. This week read Psalm 103 every day. Each day write down 2-3 truths that are revealed in the psalm. Pray over each truth and thank God for how it applies in your life and the lives of your family and friends.Small Group Discussion
What popular misconceptions exist in our world today?
What popular misconceptions about God are you aware of? What misconceptions, if any, did you have about God before you came to know Him?
Read: Psalm 103: 8-12. What eternal truths do these five verses communicate about God?
As you reflect on these verses, does this change any conceptions you have about God?
Read: Ephesians 2:4-5. What do these verses reveal about God and the means by which we come to salvation?
Being exclusive implies a status that has either been earned or paid for. How do these verses contrast our ability to be saved?
What was your first experience like being around Christians? Did that experience model the love of Jesus and how His followers loved others?
What can your group do this week to more intentionally love people like Jesus?
