Memorize and Reflect

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. " (Ephesians 1:18-19a )

Prayer Direction

Pray that you will both recognize and utilize God’s power to act on any lingering bitterness or anger over past events or the actions of others.

“Live It!” Challenge

Walk, Talk, Turn Take an ‘intentional walk’ this week, identifying an individual whom or an issue which you have allowed to keep you from moving forward in your walk with Jesus. Talk to God about the roadblock, telling Him how difficult it is to handle on your own. Turn the process over to Him, being ready to respond to His promptings toward forgiveness and restoration.

During this series we will be using the small group questions provided in the “You’ll Get Through This” study guide written by Max Lucado and Kevin and Sherry Harney. These can be purchased at a discount in the Shoreline Café. This guide will provide all the discussion materials for this six-week series.
