Memorize and Reflect

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” ([bible]John 4:29[/bible])

Prayer Direction

Thank God for showing up with power in specific times of need in your life. Pray for eyes to see and a heart to feel the presence of Jesus in the flow of your normal days.

“Live It!” Challenge

Practice Telling Three Stories - Take time in the coming week and practice telling three of your stories about Jesus and His work in your life.
  1. Tell someone about how you became a follower of Jesus. How did you hear about the love and grace of Jesus (and his death and resurrection) and why did you decide to become His follower?
  2. Tell about a difference Jesus has made in your life. What were you like before and how has walking with Jesus changed you?
  3. Tell about a time you really sensed the presence of Jesus and explain how His presence gave you power, hope, and strength.

Small Group Discussion

  1. Tell about someone who shared their story of faith with you and how their story impacted you.

  2. Tell about a time you were able to tell a story about your faith and how God used this to help another person take a step toward Jesus.

  3. Read: Acts 9:1-9 and Acts 26:4-29 How did Paul’s story grow out of his own unique and personal journey of faith? How does your story reflect your own unique life and spiritual journey?

  4. What was Paul trying to communicate to Festus and the other people who were listening to his testimony? How did Paul keep Jesus and the message of salvation right in the center of his story of faith?
