Memorize and Reflect

Revelation 19:1-2 “After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting,’Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments.’”

Prayer Direction

Pray this from {bible]Revelation 4[/bible] - “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

“Live It!” Challenge

As you read through Revelation 6-20, see the graphic and powerful images, then see through them to the hope and Good News they point to. See the light and peace and joy that await all who give their hearts to Jesus and obey his commands.

Small Group Discussion

  1. Read Revelation 6. In what way does your life reflect new and different behavior?

  2. Read Revelation 7. Where do you stand regarding the removal of the guilt of sin in your life? Do you know it is removed, do you feel it is removed?

  3. Read Revelation 11. How does glorifying God move you to moral action and loving service?

  4. Read Revelation 14. If you have confessed your sins and trusted in Christ to remove them, how does it impact your thoughts about judgment?

  5. Read Revelation 18. How do you view and navigate the comforts, materialism and self-sufficiency the world offers and hold on to your faith?

  6. Read Revelation 19. Worship is about praising God; in music, prayer, actions and service. How does it work best for you? What way of praising God is most powerful to you?

  7. Read Revelation 20. When you think of judgement, “your book” being opened and your life reviewed, what thoughts and feelings come up?

  8. Discuss the way the gift of salvation moves you, and how it impacts your life. Speculate how things might be different if you were not saved.

  9. Share the meaning you get from “no more tears or sorrow” and “death is defeated.”
