Memorize and ReflectMatthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Prayer DirectionAsk God to give you a growing awareness of His lavish love and provision in your life. Pray for courage and joy as you seek to be generous and share what God has placed in your care. Dare to ask God to help you increase your giving to the point where you become lavish like the God you follow and serve.
“Live It!” ChallengeMy Next Step – Take time to do an honest and thoughtful self-assessment of how much you give toward the work of Jesus through the church you attend and other ministries that preach Jesus. Identify one way you can take a practical step forward in being lavish in your generosity, then do it!
