Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Prayer Direction

Thank the Lord for seeking, finding and saving you. Pray for strength to seek him daily upon rising.

“Live It!” Challenge

Commit to working with Him daily: alongside, within, and a lamp unto your path. Seek him in all your ways and activities; knowing he hears you and loves you.

Small Group Discussion

  1. Thinking of Zacchaeus and the tree; What kinds of things have you done to get a glimpse of Jesus? In what circumstances did this happen?

  2. Have there been times when you wanted to see, hear, or experience in some way, something so bad that you would have done anything to make it happen? Share and describe.

  3. Read: Matthew 5:46. Share times when loving was hard, what made it hard, and how you got through it.

  4. “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” What does this mean to you?

  5. The first time you encountered Jesus; what was it like? Share other times you’ve encountered Jesus and what happened.

  6. He knows your name. Reflect on this and share how it feels, share what it means to you.

  7. Jesus often did and still does the unexpected. Has he done that in your life? Share the story.

  8. Is there someone in your life you wish would find Jesus, or Jesus would find? How are you praying for them, is there anything you can do?
