Prayer Direction

Ask for discipline to read, love, and follow the teachings of the Bible. Invite the Holy Spirit to give you the endurance to run hard toward Jesus every day of your life. Thank God for the blessing and gift of the Christian community, and pray for people who have become family in the faith to you.

“Live It!” Challenge

Life Application—Lock it in Your Mind—Take one passage from this sermon series (from Matthew 24 or one of the daily readings) and commit it to memory in the coming weeks. Lock this passage in your heart so that it gives you hope and anticipation of Jesus's certain return.

Small Group Discussion

  7. Read: Matthew 24:30-35. When we are confident that Jesus has won our victory and certain that heaven is our final destination, why does this give us the courage and boldness to stand up for Jesus and hold to our faith?

  8. Read: Matthew 24:14. Why is believing the Good News of Jesus and sharing it with others so important in every generation and absolutely essential when the end is near?

  9. Who is one family member, friend, or acquaintance in your life who needs to meet Jesus and receive His grace? How can you share the love, care, and message of Jesus with this person in the coming weeks?
