Hebrews 13:5Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Prayer Direction
Thank Jesus for His presence in your life and His promise to never leave you nor forsake you. Thank Him for the greatest contentment we can experience in being with Him and secure with Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you areas in your finances that can be better used for the glory of Jesus and the good of others. Commit to make one or more changes in response to His leading.“Live It!” Challenge
Take an Inventory: This week, set aside some time to evaluate your current spending plan. List all your expenses, categorizing essential (i.e., bills, heating/electricity, rent/home loan, etc.) and optional (subscriptions, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.) on a monthly basis. Make a commitment to reduce expenses by 10% and if not yet giving to the work of Jesus, take the money saved and give to your home church.Small Group Discussion
