Memorize and Reflect

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ([bible]Ephesians 2:10[/bible])

Prayer Direction

Ask God to remind you each day of the truth found in Jesus, and thank Him for sending Jesus to us. Acknowledge that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Tell God you adore Him, honor Him and are thankful for all He’s done for you and will do.

“Live It!” Challenge

Instead of worrying about the commercialism of Christmas this year, turn your energy towards praying for all those you see hustling and bustling about in the rush of the holiday. Ask the Holy Spirit to use the rush to speak to them in new and unexpected ways, steering their hearts toward Jesus.

Small Group Discussion

  2. Where are you with it today?

  3. Describe some things you have longed for in your life.

  4. If you searched for the purpose of your life before meeting Jesus, then after, how was it different?

  5. Do you consider your life abundant? In what ways?

  7. Talk about your design: your gifts, talents, and abilities and how God is using them.

  8. Jesus tells us to love, that once we accepted Him it’s part of our design. In what ways do you love as He loves us?

  9. We are told to follow the commands of Jesus. Which commands are you following best and what is happening as a result?

  10. What moves you the most when you think of Jesus coming to earth for us?
