Memorize and Reflect

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Direction

Thank Jesus for bringing His hope to the world when he entered human history. Ask God to reveal His hope in your life and through your life each day of your life. Pray for a person in your life that is in a time that feels hopeless, ask God to reveal His hope in their time of need.

“Live It!” Challenge

Be a Conduit of Hope – Identify a person you love and care about who is in a time when they really need to be reminded of the hope that is found in the person of Jesus. Take two or three passages from this week’s sermon “The Arrival of Hope” and share these with the person you are thinking about. You might send a text message, and email, call them, or even take them out for coffee and share what God is teaching you about hope in Jesus.
