Thank Jesus for bringing His hope to the world when he entered human history. Ask God to reveal His hope in your life and through your life each day of your life. Pray for a person in your life that is in a time that feels hopeless, ask God to reveal His hope in their time of need.“Live It!” Challenge
Be a Conduit of Hope – Identify a person you love and care about who is in a time when they really need to be reminded of the hope that is found in the person of Jesus. Take two or three passages from this week’s sermon “The Arrival of Hope” and share these with the person you are thinking about. You might send a text message, and email, call them, or even take them out for coffee and share what God is teaching you about hope in Jesus.Small Group Discussion
Tell about a time you faced hopelessness and share how Jesus brought you through that time.
In the flow of a normal day, what are ways we can experience the hope of Jesus and how does this make life better?

Read: Luke 2:25-32 How is Simeon and his life an example of hope for us? How did he see his hope become a reality?
Read: 1 Peter 1:10-16. What hope was fulfilled when Jesus first came to this world over 2,000 years ago?
What hopes will Jesus satisfy when he comes a second time to make all things right? Why is it essential that we live with a firm hope that Jesus is coming again?
How does Jesus’ sacrificial suffering bring hope to us in the good times and in the hard times of life?
How does Jesus show up in your daily life and give you hope through His presence, His power, and His provision?
