Psalm 8:9 Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!Prayer Direction
Spend time praying for:- Eyes to see and a heart to appreciate the beauty of His creation.
- The gift and blessing of the people God has placed in your life.
- The value and good parts of technology.
- Eyes to see some of the dangers of too much connection to technology and the power to shut it down and enjoy other gifts God has given.
“Live It!” Challenge
Try a Technology Fast – Try setting aside two or three evenings in a week and shut down your computer, Tablet, and even your phone. Find other things to do on your own and with other people in your home. You might just find yourself talking, laughing, and playing games with family members.Small Group Discussion

Read: Psalm 8 How can plugging into creation and God’s good gifts help us limit our engagement with technology and lead to a more meaningful life?
What are ways we can enjoy the world God has made and really delight in creation, including people made in the image of God?
Read: Psalm 19:1-6. How does creation reveal the presence and glory of God? What might we miss out on if we are always connected to a screen and not delighting in the beauty of all God has made?
