Memorize and Reflect

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Prayer Direction

Thank God for calling you His friend and for treating you as a friend. Ask for strength to follow the teaching of Jesus as you reveal that He is your friend. Pray for yourself and other Christians in your life to live with a deep joy of friendship with God.

“Live It!” Challenge

Growing Your Friendship – Jesus talked a lot about how our commitment to walk in His ways and follow His Word impacts our friendship with Him. Make a decision to surrender an area of disobedience to His Word in one specific area and set one or two goals to grow in following God’s will. Find one close and trusted Christian friend who can pray for you and keep you accountable in this area of your life.
