Day 1 READ: Romans 12. What are some of the loudest voices competing for your attention each day? How does culture attempt to shape the way we think, react, desire, and live? What do you think it means to be transformed by the renewing of your mind rather than conformed to the patterns of the world?
Day 1 PRAY: Spend some time honestly evaluating what most consistently fills your mind and captures your attention. Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal any influences, habits, or distractions that may be shaping your heart more than God’s truth. Ask God to help you develop greater discernment and a deeper hunger for His presence and His Word.
Day 2 READ: Luke 10. What differences do you notice between Mary and Martha? Why do you think Martha became distracted? What does Jesus mean when He says Mary chose “what is better”? How can we become so consumed with activity, pressure, or noise that we miss intimacy with Jesus?
Day 2 PRAY: Consider the things in your life that regularly divide your focus or consume your emotional energy. Bring those things honestly before Jesus. Spend a few quiet moments simply listening, slowing down, and becoming aware of His presence.
Day 3 READ: Hebrews 12. What stands out to you about God’s power, presence, and peace in this passage? Why is stillness before God often difficult in our culture? What kinds of noise or distraction most often keep you from hearing His voice clearly?
Day 3 PRAY: Thank Jesus for His faithfulness, endurance, and sacrifice on your behalf. Ask Him to help redirect your thoughts and attention toward what is eternal rather than temporary. Write down one practical step you can take this week to intentionally focus more on Christ.
Day 4 READ: Psalm 46. What are some of the blessings of being “in Christ”? How does this reframe what we used to do and crave? How does this reshape how we view ourselves and others who are in Christ?
Day 4 PRAY: Take time today to intentionally unplug from unnecessary distractions, even if only for a few minutes. Use that time to worship, pray, journal, or simply sit quietly before God, remembering that He is near.
Day 5 READ: Philippians 4. According to Paul, what kinds of things should shape our thinking? How can unhealthy inputs affect our hearts, attitudes, and spiritual lives? What would change if we intentionally focused our minds on what is true, noble, pure, and excellent?
Day 5 PRAY: Ask God to guard your heart and mind from influences that pull you away from Him. Invite Him to replace anxiety, comparison, distraction, and negativity with His peace and truth. Consider one habit or source of input you may need to reduce so your attention can become more centered on Jesus this week.

Memorize and Reflect

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
