Day 1 READ: 2 Corinthians 10
What was going on in Paul’s ministry? What was he being challenged with? What do you think he means when he says, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world"?
Day 1 PRAY: Pause and thank God for His unwavering protection and unconditional love for you. Ask Him to show you with greater clarity the realities of spiritual warfare. Thank Him for His victory in Jesus and commit to praying daily for protection, discernment, diligence, and discipline in your spiritual walk.
Day 2 READ: Ephesians 6:13-20
What are the different pieces of equipment we have at our disposal to defend against the enemy? What are the offensive weapons we have to fight back with? What is your proficiency in employing these weapons (i.e., Bible memory, Prayer practices)
Day 2 PRAY: Pause and thank God for giving us Jesus, His greatest gift for all the world. Thank Jesus for the strength He gives to defend against and fight back against the enemy. Thank the Holy Spirit that we are not alone in this fight and for His vision and wisdom to see the enemy and his tactics. Ask God to show you one way you can be more disciplined in employing the full armor of God!
Day 3 READ: 2 Chronicles 20:1-30
As you read this passage, what is a weapon of spiritual warfare most Christians overlook? How does wholehearted worship help encourage you in the battles of this life? Why do you think it is such a powerful weapon against Satan and His schemes?
Day 3 PRAY: Thank Jesus for His conquering the grave and defeating Satan. Invite Him to show you how you could more wholeheartedly worship Him this week. Take a moment and listen to this worship song and reflect on the beauty and the power of the lyrics.
Day 4 READ: Exodus 20:1-17
Verses 8-11 highlight another secret weapon available to Christians. What is that weapon? Why is Sabbath so important for us, and how can it effectively combat the schemes and tactics of the enemy? How are you “Sabbathing”?
Day 4 PRAY: Thank God for His incredible kindness, goodness, and love, for giving us a day of rest to reflect, recover, and receive from Him in greater measure. Ask Him to show you how your current weekly rhythms can be more effective strategies against the schemes of the enemy. Thank Him for revealing these areas and your current rhythms of rest.
Day 5 READ: 2 Peter 3
What is the main message Peter (inspired by the Holy Spirit) is communicating to us? How does this passage help you see things with a greater sense of urgency? What one change in your life could you make to be better prepared for spiritual warfare and Jesus' return?
Day 5 PRAY: Pause and thank Jesus for His presence with you and for you in the spiritual battles. Ask Him to give you a greater sense of urgency in your daily spiritual practices and in your willingness to share the love of Jesus and the gospel this week and beyond.

Memorize and Reflect

2 Corinthians 10:3-4
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
