Through live worship, engaging teaching, and joyful fellowship we’ll explore ways to grow in our faith and join together to shine Jesus’ light brightly in our neighborhoods and beyond.

$35 registration fee includes Friday night activity, Saturday program, and lunch.

Ashli Valdes is a prayer ministry leader and biblical teacher with a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary, focusing on the biblical languages. Formed by a lifelong faith and diverse church experiences, she is passionate about helping believers engage Scripture deeply, embrace the Spirit’s gifts for the strengthening of the Church, and pursue meaningful, life-giving community. Ashli and her husband, Oscar, live with their malti-poo-terrier and enjoy this beautiful place they call home.

Barbi Fulkerson is a single mother of three and grandmother, who serves as a Shoreline lay counselor, Bible study facilitator, and life group leader for single moms at Shoreline Church. Barbi is pursuing a degree in Applied Ministry at Liberty University, with concentrations in apologetics and worship. She understands what it’s like to feel stuck, broken, unloved, and alone. Her hope is to guide women into the love of Jesus, where they can discover their true identity in Christ through worship, God’s Word, and putting Him first, leading to healing, restoration, peace, strength, and hope.

Lori Spivey a Southern California native, spent 50+ years in San Diego before God led her to the Central Coast in January 2023. She immediately connected with Shoreline Church, serving as Women’s Bible Study Table Facilitator, Financial Peace Co-Leader, and Women’s Mentoring Ministry Leader. Find her Sundays at the Connections Center or Courtyard info table, and Sunday afternoons with “Yarning for Jesus,” her crocheting group. She has two grown children, two granddaughters, and two grand kitties.
