In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth as He spoke the words “Let there be light”! In that moment light shattered the darkness and set the creation of the world into motion. Thousands of years later, God once again shattered the darkness as the light of the world, Jesus arrived with the angels anthem, shepherds astounding, and a world awaiting. Jesus who is eternal light, ushered in the plan of salvation that would once and for all defeat the darkness and usher in the kingdom of light now and forevermore. As His followers, we are reminded that we are the light of the world wherever we are sent and whenever we have the opportunity to shine the light of Jesus.
