Hume Lake Summer Camp 2023

Hume Lake Summer Camp 2023

Middle and High School Summer Camp at Hume Lake | June 11-17, 2023

We live in a world that is increasingly hostile towards Christianity, meaning that biblical truths are not widely accepted as cultural norms, and Christians are seen as narrow-minded, ignorant, and intolerant. Many things in culture are changing in a direction that is contradictory to the Word of God, and as Christ followers, we find ourselves in the midst of this reality asking ourselves questions such as, “how do we live with resilience as followers of Christ?” and “how do we stand firm on our convictions and beliefs while demonstrating care and respect for others at the same time?” These are questions that the Christ follower will wrestle through as we live out our faith resiliently.

This summer we will look at the life of Daniel, and as we study his life, we will see an incredible example of a man who did this well. As we learn from Daniel’s life, our prayer is that we would have a better understanding of what it means to live in a hostile culture without compromise and that our faith would be one of resilience, able to withstand and recover quickly from difficult conditions.

High School: Ponderosa Camp

Ponderosa is an incredible place to get away from the busyness and distractions that young people face on a daily basis and spend time away at camp. Here, you will hear the gospel preached, be challenged through scripture, engage in awesome worship through music, and get some time—both alone and with your church—to process what God did in your life during your week at camp. You’ll get to be part of our high energy recreation every morning, and action-packed afternoons and evenings; this includes, but is not limited to, playing in the mud, running the Gauntlet and dominating in Kajabe Kan Kan.

Middle School: Meadow Ranch

Meadow Ranch is a phenomenal place for middle school students to get away from the everyday distractions and into the quietness the Meadow has to offer and learn more about who God is. From outdoor activities, energetic recreation and suspenseful night games, to exceptional speakers, inspiring live production and impactful worship, your time at Hume will make you want to come back for more!.
