Memorize and Reflect

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control… (Galatians 5:22-23)

Prayer Direction

Ask God to help you honestly evaluate where the “acts of the flesh” are taking over your life and to also help you see where the “fruit of the Spirit” is growing. Thank God for His Holy Word and pray that you will be more diligent and passionate about knowing the teaching of the Bible and following what it says. Invite the Holy Spirit to give you a growing hunger for prayer and worship. Thank Jesus for serving you with His life and pray for a humble heart to serve others. Pray for someone in your life you love and care about who does not yet know the love of Jesus.

“Live It!” Challenge

Take time to memorize the simple acronym GRIP. Use this as a regular reminder that the best way to get a grip on your life is to be sure: · God is first · Relationships with people come second · Inner-Life is in order · Practices of spiritual growth mark your life
