Sermon Series: The Return of the King Sermon Title: The King Was, Is, and Will Ever Be Your Closest Friend
Delivered On: December 7, 2014
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command." ([bible]John 15:13-14 [/bible])
God, I realize I am the object of your love, and there is no greater love than your love for me. You gave up your life for me and you call me friend, if I choose to obey you.
Honest Evaluation: What are three areas in your life you struggle to obey God’s commands? What needs to change so you can and will obey? What needs to go away?

Read: John 15:13-14 . What do you think Jesus was trying to have us understand?
What condition does Jesus put upon us to be our friend and why do you think he said that?
Read: Mark 5:25-34 . What do you think the woman felt like after Jesus healed her. How would you feel?
In a large crowd Jesus takes time to meet the deep needs of a woman that is very ordinary as the world looks at her. How does Jesus see her?
What "old things” will you be glad to see gone?
If heaven is so incredible, so wonderful, and God tells us that heaven is a free gift through His Son Jesus, what should be our priorities be?
